Starsand Island Houseboat Guide: Unlock and Place

The Houseboat is a Trade Whiz reward, not a crafting-bench item. Wiki flags it uncraftable. You earn it by finishing Island Life Bright Star → Trade Whiz, then summon it from the phone.

Clear those three and Island Life grants Build and Use Houseboats plus the Houseboat itself.

How to place it

Phone → Vehicles → Houseboat.
Find water that is large and deep enough.
Summon an empty Houseboat onto the sea.
Board it.
Open Build / Layout mode and build the house on the deck.

Reddit players confirmed this order. Do not look for a workbench recipe.

Missing yellow-flower blueprint

Layouts can sit incomplete because Sword-leaf Yellow Wildflower Cluster was missing. Official notes later put that blueprint in the Starsand Store. Players buy Flower Cluster Scaping Manual at Community Center → Starsand Shop.
